Donuts and cake? Yes please! I keep telling our baby girl DONUT grow up, but she just wont listen so we had a backyard celebration and invited our family and friends for her donut themed first birthday party.
The beautiful balloon garland was done by my talented sister-in-law and her friend. With the help of Sparkly Sweets they were able to create a dessert table that was feminine, playful, and most importantly PINK with white and gold.
The donut wall was a big hit with our little guest and so were the unicorn glittery cupcakes. But let’s be honest kids go crazy over sweets and we were so glad they had pretty options to choose from and enough time for them to burn off some energy before heading back home with their parents.
To complete the overall look of the wall a week before the party we photographed our sweet Amilia.
Here are some close ups of the photos.
This Is the face of our little girl trying a donut for the first time in her life. When we first placed the donuts on the tray she ignored them and was more interested in the balloons than the pretty white glazed donuts with sprinkles. She had no idea what she was missing out on, so we decided to help her out a bit and once she tried it she was in donut heaven! Of course big sister also joined the fun at the end.
To our friends and family who were able to make it down thank you so much for sharing your day with us. We love you all!!!
xoxo,
Brenda
