We are so glad and honored that we had the opportunity to photograph Derik and Nicole’s intimate elopement at Glamis Dunes, California. It was just them and their family. There is nothing better than a wedding ceremony that focuses on what really matters. We began at the Best Western Plus Main Street Inn in Brawley for the getting ready photographs.

The bride’s hair was done by Isabella Ramirez (Instagram  @bel_rmz_artistry ) her makeup was done by Klaryssa Garcia (Instagram @klarygee_mua) and nails by  Melissa Putney (Instagram @nailsbymelissaputney )

We love the floral which was done by none other than the bride herself Nicole Cintron. You can find her on Instagram @cintronnicole . She does fantastic wedding floral arrangements and coordinates events. The flowers give this wedding ring photo a nice pop of color.

When we were all ready to go we drove to the Glamis Sand Dunes and then took a dune buggy to the elopement location where the ceremony was to be performed with their families as witnesses. That was an adventure. It was our first time in a dune buggy but Derik, the groom, drives like a pro. They chose the sand dunes not only for their beauty but also because it’s where they like to ride recreational vehicles. So the sand dunes are a sentimental place for them and make the perfect setting for their elopement.

After the ceremony it was just us and the dunes.

You need the right shoes if you are going to be walking on these dunes. You need some awesome wedding boots.

They each had awesome leather jackets with custom lettering done by Roxanne Cadavona (Instagram @roxypoxydesigns).
